City of North Bend release - Meet North Bend’s School Resource Officers and enjoy a free frozen popsicle during four family-friendly summertime gatherings at neighborhood parks.  The North Bend Police Department is inviting local children and families to enjoy free frozen popsicles and meet the officers who serve North Bend’s schools and community.  The new Popsicles with Patrol summer series will bring North Bend’s School Resource Officers and other available patrol officers to four neighborhood parks during July and August.  The events are intended to promote public safety, strengthen relationships with local families, and help young people remain connected with their School Resource Officers during summer break.  Children and their families are encouraged to stop by, introduce themselves, visit with officers, explore a patrol vehicle, and enjoy a frozen summertime treat.  2026 Popsicles with Patrol Schedule:   Sunday, August 9, 2026, 1:00–2:30 p.m. | Oak Street Park (formerly known as College Park).  Saturday, August 22, 2026, 1:00–2:30 p.m. | Boynton Park.
