Please join us in congratulating Deputy Wylie on his graduation yesterday from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Basic Police Academy.
Over the past 16 weeks, Deputy Wylie has completed training in areas such as criminal law, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations, firearms, communication skills, and crisis intervention; building a strong foundation for a successful career as a Patrol Deputy.
He now returns to Douglas County to begin the next phase of his journey. We are proud of his hard work and dedication, and we’re excited to have him back, continuing his commitment to serving our community.
