Phil and Penny Knight give $1B to launch University of Oregon engineering school

The new Knight College of Engineering will be at the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, established with gifts the couple made in 2016 and 2021.

Nike co-founder Phil Knight and his wife, Penny, announced a whopping $1 billion contribution to the University of Oregon early Wednesday morning.
