Description

Three high voltage transmission towers just south of Sauvie Island, one owned by PGE and two by the Bonneville Power Administration, span the Willamette river.

After an outpouring of concerns about recent electricity rate increases and their burden on families throughout the state, U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden took the unusual step of demanding some direct answers from Portland General Electric.
