🚢 COOS BAY COMEBACK – OUR TIME TO SHINE! 🌲💪
Once a booming timber town, Coos Bay is ready for its next big chapter. The Pacific Coast Intermodal Port (PCIP) is set to transform our region, bringing thousands of jobs and a major economic boost to rural Oregon!
The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay has partnered with NorthPoint Development to create a state-of-the-art container terminal that will:
✅ Move nearly 100% of containers by rail – reducing congestion & emissions
âś… Expand export opportunities for U.S. businesses
âś… Support 2,600 construction jobs and up to 9,400 permanent jobs
âś… Be the first fully ship-to-rail facility on the U.S. West Coast
This $2.3 billion project is a game-changer. By deepening and widening the Coos Bay Navigation Channel and upgrading the Coos Bay Rail Line, we’re creating a new, sustainable gateway for global trade.
This isn’t just a local project—it’s a nationally significant development that puts Coos Bay on the map in a whole new way. The future is here, and it starts in Coos Bay!
