A couple was arrested in California for felony child endangerment after deputies found their week-old newborn living in a filthy tent under a freeway overpass surrounded by drug paraphernalia and unsanitary conditions.

The parents of a 7-day-old baby were arrested after deputies found them living in a tent under a California freeway overpass amid what authorities described as hazardous, unsanitary conditions.
