Description

Chairs sit in the remains of the post office in Gates, Oregon. The town along the Santiam River was all but destroyed by the Beachie Creek Fire.

PacifiCorp plans to sell some of its transmission and distribution assets in rural Oregon to electric cooperatives to shore up finances amid growing liabilities from 2020 wildfires.
