PacifiCorp has joined an energy market run by the the California Independent System Operator, or CAISO.

PacifiCorp on Friday became the first utility outside California to join a new wholesale energy market, a move it says will generate substantial savings for customers, greater reliability and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
