EUGENE, Ore. – The Beavers closed their weekend in Eugene with six improvements to the OSU record books. OSU release - Beatrice Pettersson led the way early in the hammer throw invite, placing seventh before returning later in the day for a standout performance in the shot put. Pettersson recorded a personal-best 15.08m/50-9.50 to finish second and move to No. 4 all-time at Oregon State. In the javelin invite, Havana Alonso placed sixth, while Kaylen Rabalais added an unattached mark. On the track, the 1,500 meters featured a deep showing from the Beavers, led by Ruby Broadbent's runner-up finish in 4:19.25. Kate Laurent added an eighth-place finish, while Maella Hodgson, Payton Smith, Jenna O'Beirne, and Ellie Quintana all recorded personal bests in a crowded field. The hurdles group saw Megan Hatcher place third in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal-best 14.62, while Peyton Craven and Mia Kemp competed unattached. Ruby Lorenz added a mark of 59.90 in the 400 meters to move into the OSU all-time top 10. In the sprints, Audrey Biggerstaff placed second in the 100 meters, and Riley Patera highlighted the 200 meters with a victory in 24.74. Callie Brandes added a third-place finish, while Biggerstaff recorded a personal best in the event. The distance group closed out Friday with Molly Latincsics running a personal-best 16:23.34 in the 5,000 meters while competing unattached, a mark that moved her into the OSU all-time top 10. Saturday's action saw continued momentum, beginning in the pole vault where Mia Fowler cleared a personal-best 3.91m/12-10 to improve her standing at No. 5 all-time at Oregon State. In the 1,500-meter invite, Ainsley Herron delivered one of the top performances of the weekend, running a personal-best 4:14.96 to improve to No. 3 all-time at OSU. Maya Baechler added a strong showing while competing unattached. Dede Norman highlighted the field events with a victory in the high jump, clearing 1.77m/5-9.75, while Kyra Bakke and Lexi Hunt added depth. In the discus, Katie Gelston placed third, and Olivia Chamizo competed unattached. On the track, Callie Brandes and Riley Patera both posted personal bests in the 100 meters. Jillian Brown added a strong eighth-place finish in the 800 meters, while Megan Hatcher recorded another personal best in the 400-meter hurdles, moving to No. 7 all-time at OSU. The distance group closed the meet with strong efforts in the steeplechase, where Noemi Lundgren recorded a personal best while competing unattached, and Delaney Ulrich also added a personal-best performance. The Beavers are scheduled to compete at the Drake Relays, April 23rd through April 25th.

Oregon State’s baseball team took two-out-of-three from visiting Cal State Fullerton at Goss Stadium, Corvallis. Cal State Fullerton won the opener Friday, 2-1. OSU won on Saturday, 6-1 and took the series on Sunday, 10-2. The Beavers (30-8) play at Oregon, Wednesday, April 22, 5:35p, televised on Portland’s CW.

Not a good weekend for Oregon State softball at Moraga, CA against Saint Mary’s. The Beavers lost three-straight WCC games. On Friday, 5-3; Saturday, 8-3 & Sunday, 8-4. OSU (5-7, 17-29) travels to Eugene on Wednesday, April 22.
