Two of Amanda Schenkenberger's home-schooled sons looking up information in a reference book. The family is enrolled in a virtual charter school in Oregon and is able to receive funding to help offset the costs of enrichment and technology.

In a YouTube video posted last June, Wilsonville resident Amanda Schenkenberger lets her fellow home-schooling parents in on a not-so-secret fact about the state’s ever-growing network of publicly-funded, online-only charter schools.
