Description

Researchers at Oregon Health & Science University and Legacy Research Institute in Portland have won a five-year, $3.3 million federal grant to study the safety and effectiveness of state-regulated access to psilocybin, also known as magic mushrooms.

Oregon took a leap into the psychedelic unknown when voters approved regulated psilocybin services nearly six years ago to treat addiction, depression and other illnesses.
