The Oregon Youth ChalleNGe Program, administered by the Oregon National Guard, has become the first in the nation to receive an "outstanding" rating under new federal evaluation criteria. The program, which serves as Oregon's only accredited statewide alternative high school, achieved this recognition during a comprehensive four-day inspection by the National Guard Bureau's Youth Programs Division. Despite flat federal funding for the past three years, the program continues to see increased demand, recently graduating its largest class ever with 165 cadets and starting a new class with a record 191 cadets.

Another outstanding band concert in the books for the Coos Bay Band programs. Tonight was the first concert for our Sunset and Millicoma 6th graders. Our three state solo qualifiers performed their selections; Britney Herrera, Addison Moss, and Alan Cabudol. Next up is the district band festival on April 16 at MHS and the Spring Concert in May. Thank you to everyone who came out to support these wonderful musicians and a special thank you to Mr. Kruse and Ms Aton. It’s great to see that stage full.Photos from Marshfield High School's post

Attention 42S and North Bank Families Route 28 will run tomorrow 3/19/25 on 42S. Fat Elk/Fish Trap roads are still closed. Bus stops times will be 20 minutes later than usual. Any families from Fat Elk/Arago that would like to go over Lampa Mountain via Lampa Lane can meet the bus at Lampa Lane and 42S at 7:05.
