Description

Official ballot return envelopes are stacked at the Multnomah County Elections Office in Southeast Portland on Oct. 24, 2024. Under new proposed rules from the U.S. Postal Service, states would be required to give the federal agency the names, addresses and unique ballot information of individuals who receive mail-in ballots.

Under new rules proposed by the U.S. Postal Service, Oregon would have to provide the federal government with a list of registered voters in order to retain mail-in voting.
