On Sunday at 12:30 p.m. an air stagnation advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from 4 p.m. until Wednesday 4 p.m. for Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills, Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County as well as Jackson County.

The weather service states to prepare for, "Poor air quality will develop this evening and continue through Wednesday. This is due to an inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will trap pollutants."
