On Wednesday at 3:04 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from Thursday 4 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley as well as Harney, Baker and Malheur counties.

The weather service states, "Snow and Blowing Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches possible in the Treasure and Magic Valleys and 6 to 12 inches possible in the mountains and across northern Malheur and Harney counties. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph causing areas of blowing and drifting snow."
