Oregon is set to receive about $2.56 million under a nationwide settlement with Mercedes-Benz USA and its parent company, Daimler AG. State officials said the companies marketed, leased and sold diesel vehicles equipped with illegal software that allowed the cars to pass emissions tests while releasing far more pollution during everyday driving.
