Oregon State pitcher Tyler Bellerose, who suffered a traumatic brain injury from an April 13 auto accident, is leaving the hospital to begin treatment at an inpatient rehab facility, according to his family.

Again, without their help and assistance, we wouldn't be able to have the city and be proud of what we have. So, I am honored and proud to have the volunteers that we have, so I wanted to thank you personally.” From advisory boards and local programs to emergency services and community initiatives, volunteers play an essential role in maintaining the quality of life in Coos Bay. Their dedication continues to strengthen the fabric of the community and inspire others to get involved.
