Oregon State landed an early signing day commitment and signing Wednesday when Texas cornerback Blake Thompson gave his college pledge to the Beavers.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Thompson was one of 16 players to sign with Oregon State as of 10 a.m. Wednesday. Thompson had offers from Colorado State, Texas State and Tulsa.
