By Sean Nealon, OSU release - CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting virtually via Zoom July 8 to consider approving a 10-year business forecast, a new student living center and a bond issuance for the student living center on the Corvallis campus.  The board is scheduled to meet from 1 to 2:10 p.m. via Zoom. The board’s Academic Strategies Committee is set to meet from 2:10 to 2:45 p.m., also via Zoom.  The student living center project includes improvements to area infrastructure and an off-campus dining support facility. The total estimated budget is $190 million. The new student living center will add 680 student beds and will be approximately 175,000 square feet.  The Academic Strategies Committee will consider approving several new degree programs.  Meeting agendas and materials are posted as they become available on the board’s website, along with instructions about how to view board meetings.  Members of the public can submit written comments by 5 p.m. Thursday, July 3 to [email protected]. All comments submitted this way will be shared with all trustees.  Members of the public can provide verbal comments via Zoom before the board votes on each action item.
