Oregon man gets supervised release for laser pointed at military helicopter

The Federal Aviation Administration made a video showing what pilots see when a laser pointer shines into a cockpit. The green flash is from a laser pointer.

A Molalla resident who shined a laser pointer at an Oregon Army National Guard Blackhawk helicopter in July 2024 was sentenced to six months of federal supervised release.
