Oregon will soon have a new senatr: Courtney Neron of Wilsonville. County commissioners now must select a Democrat to finish her term in the House.

State Rep. Courtney Neron, a Wilsonville Democrat, will move to the Senate after county commissioners tapped her to finish the remainder of Sen. Aaron Woods’ term.
