Description

The Hood River County Sheriff's Office say a fire captain in Lane County was caught in a child predator sting.

A fire captain from southern Lane County was arrested Friday under accusations that he tried to persuade a law enforcement officer who was posing as a minor “to engage in sexual conduct” during an undercover sting in Hood River County, according to court papers and police.
