Hayden Edwards, Blair and Taylor Edwards’ fourth child, Hayden, was born at home on June 24, 2023, and stopped eating two days later. He died hours later. His parents, Blair and Taylor Edwards, were convicted of a felony charge, criminal mistreatment, for failing to get help when the infant stopped eating and struggled to breathe.

An Oregon City couple who did not call 911 as their newborn stopped eating, struggled to breathe and then died were sentenced Monday to 30 days in jail as part of an agreement that requires them to seek routine medical care for their surviving children.
