Description

The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners held a work session in November to discuss how to handle federal immigration enforcement actions. The board reaffirmed the county's sanctuary status and approved funds to help organizations supporting immigrants Dec. 18.

As federal immigration crackdowns continue to impact Oregon families, Multnomah County has joined other local governments in funneling support to immigrant communities.
