Description

Clean up crews with the EPA wear protective suits when checking homes affected by the wildfires for hazardous materials on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020 in Gates, Oregon.

The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday in favor of PacifiCorp in a long-running class action lawsuit stemming from Oregon’s historic 2020 wildfires, effectively reversing damage awards in a lawsuit against the Portland-based utility that have climbed past $1 billion and were headed much higher.
