OPRD release - SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is extending its public comment period for proposed updates to the archaeological permit rules until Friday, Aug. 14 at 5 p.m. The extension is in response to a request from a tribal government, due to the current impacts of wildfires across the state. OPRD first announced the rulemaking on July 1.
