On April 6th, 2026, at around 2:30 PM, a Coos County Deputy observed a female, later identified as Martha Busby (44), throwing bags of trash from Cape Arago Highway, on to the property of Bay Point Landing.   
  
The Deputy began an investigation, and as a result, Martha Busby was cited for Criminal Mischief- 3, Offensive Littering, and Criminal Trespass -2.   
  
“Police action is not indicative of guilt.  All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
