Description
I-5 will have rolling slowdowns near Cottage Grove starting at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, while utility crews secure overhead power lines. Southbound traffic will slow to 25 mph starting at Goshen, milepost 188, and northbound traffic starting at Curtin, milepost 165. The slowdowns will create an approximately 20-minute gap in traffic so crews can safely work over the interstate. Starting at 3:50 a.m., crews will temporarily close southbound on-ramps at Creswell, Gettings Creek, Saginaw and Cottage Grove, and the northbound on-ramp at Sixth Street in Cottage Grove. Expect delays and watch for slow or stopped traffic. This work is expected to take less than an hour. TripCheck.com for updates.
