Description

ODFW release - This is a courtesy reminder that the ocean is closed to recreational boat-based crabbing October 16-November 30. Bays, beaches, estuaries, piers, tide pools, and jetties are open to crabbing year-round, barring any area closures due to elevated biotoxin in crab. Remember to always check the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s website (https://www.oregon.gov/oda/food-safety/shellfish/Pages/shellfish-closures.aspx) or call the Shellfish Biotoxin Hotline (1-800-448-2474) before harvesting shellfish.
