A New York man fatally shot his girlfriend, who was trying to leave him, while her father listened helplessly on the phone before the gunman turned the weapon on himself.

A New York father says he begged for his daughter’s life during a 14-minute phone call while her boyfriend held a gun to her head, before the man fatally shot her and then himself.
