Description

A young cat poses for a photo at the Oregon Humane Society. Cats were among the unconventional write-in choices in Washington County’s Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District zone 3 race, where some voters also said they voted for relatives and roommates.

Some voters in Washington County got creative this year with a contest in which the only option was to vote for a write-in candidate.
