Description
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit off the southern Oregon coast on Monday night — but residents of the area shouldn’t expect a tsunami.
That’s according to the U.S. Tsunami Service, which declared that there was no reason to fear the earthquake that hit a remote patch of sea floor around 4:30 a.m.
