Description

Silverton police Officer Sam Willits said the school was placed on lockdown and police searched for a potential shooter but found no threat to students.

Silverton police received a report of an active shooter at Silverton High School about 1:30 p.m. Friday and subsequently concluded there was “never actually a threat to students,” a police spokesperson said.
