Description
Young members of the Tohono O’odham Nation were part of a group of teenagers and young adults who traversed the newly free-flowing Klamath River in June and July. The lands of the Nation are within the Sonoran Desert in south central Arizona. A story that appeared on page A6 Aug. 15 implied the Tohono O’odham Nation was a Klamath Basin tribe.
Farms in Oregon do not need a farmstand permit to host “u-picks” and pumpkin patches. A story published on the front page on Aug 10 misstated the requirement.
