Newport’s 68th annual Loyalty Day and Sea Fair Festival will be held May 3 2025 Parade starts at 12:00. Newport Loyalty Days 2025, Fri, May 02; Celebrate community spirit and patriotism at the Newport Loyalty Days, a longstanding coastal tradition. Held annually the first weekend of May, the festival features a variety of family-friendly events, including a parade, live entertainment, community gatherings, and activities honoring veterans.

Newport Blessing of the Fleet

As part of the Loyalty Days celebration at Newport on the Central Coast this weekend, the Newport Fishermen’s Wives will host the annual Blessing of the Fleet on Sunday, May 5, 2025. Events begin on the waterfront at 9 a.m. with a Survival Suit Race at Port Dock 3. At 11 a.m., a USCG vessel will lead the Boat Procession out of Yaquina Bay for the Blessing. At 1 p.m., Highliner Competition at the Port of Newport International Terminal on Yaquina Bay Road. Followed by a Free Community BBQ at 1 p.m. at the Terminal. At 4 p.m., Fishermen’s Sanctuary, Yaquina Bay State Park, a Memorial.
