Description

Comprehensive Paid Leave for Federal Employees Act, or SB 5168, would save the government at least $50 million annually in turnover and replacement costs, according to bill sponsor.

Federal workers would be eligible for 12 weeks of paid leave for a serious illness or to care for a sick spouse, child or parent, under a bill filed by a U.S. senator from Hawaii.
