Dr. Jane Zhu, an associate professor of medicine at OHSU, is the lead author of a study that found almost a third of physicians enrolled in Medicaid nationwide don’t actually care for any Medicaid patients.

When people on Medicaid look for a doctor, the search often starts with a long list of names that makes health care seem within reach.
