Bodum USA is recalling 5.9 million French press coffee makers after 70 reports of shattering glass carafes caused 48 burn injuries. A free repair kit is available to affected customers.

Millions of coffee makers sold nationwide by major retailers are being recalled after dozens of consumers reported sustaining burns from the appliances breaking apart.
