North Bend Public Library to Host Nature Photography Exhibit by Marie C. Neder
The North Bend Public Library is pleased to present Nature as Art, a photography exhibit by South Coast artist Marie C. Neder. Marie is no stranger to life in a small coastal town. In her twenties, she lived in Carlsbad and Encinitas, California, before eventually making her home on Oregon's beautiful South Coast. The ocean, rivers, and lakes continue to inspire her work, with North Bend providing endless opportunities to experience the beauty of nature throughout the year. About the exhibit, Marie writes: "The images depict art in nature as I, as a photographer, see it. The titles I attach to each photograph are part of the total expression." The exhibit features woodland and coastal landscapes, wildlife, and butterflies, inviting visitors to see the natural world through the artist's unique perspective. Marie has exhibited her work throughout Coos, Curry, and coastal Douglas counties. Visitors can learn more about her work at MarieNeder.com. The public is invited to visit the North Bend Public Library during regular library hours to enjoy this free exhibit. Event Details: What: Art Exhibit featuring work by Marie C. Neder; When: the month of September; Where: North Bend Public Library Conference Room; Who: Appropriate for all ages; Cost: Free.
