Description
BANDON – Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center announces its clinical and non-clinical Employees of the Month for April 2025. Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and voted on via an anonymous poll. Awardees receive points on the hospital’s AwardCo platform, which they can redeem for merchandise or gift cards, and also receive a designated parking spot for the month.
Clinical
Jamie Stokes, Charge Nurse, Med-Surg Department
“I am nominating Jamie Stokes for always being great at her job,” her nomination stated. “She keeps constant contact with our department, letting us know of any changes. She is the best charge nurse in this hospital.
“She is very polite, keeps a cool head during high-stress situations, and tries to always put her best foot forward.
“I love interacting with Jamie and have much easier days when she is on shift. She is literally a superhero!” the nomination concluded.
Non-Clinical
Noah Bassine, Dietary Cook, Dietary Department
“I am nominating Noah Bassine for many reasons,” his nomination stated. “He is our quiet mouse. He always comes to work with a positive attitude.
“He is constantly thinking of new and yummy specials for the employees. He is always willing to help his coworkers without complaint and rarely calls out.
“Noah came to my department with little experience and was ready to learn. He is irreplaceable due to his great attitude and ability to take constructive criticism without taking it personally.
“He improves his performance daily, and I know I can always count on him. I’m beyond grateful he is here with us and part of our little family,” the nomination concluded.
Jamie and Noah are mother and son, and we think this is a first for our Employees of the Month winners! Congratulations to both of them!
