Description

Marie Gertrude Jean Valmont and her daughter Yolandita Marie Andre were co-owners and operators of Velida's Care Home, pictured here, on Southwest Omara Street in Tigard. The home's website said they opened the foster care home in spring of 2022. The state suspended their license upon their arrests, according to a federal prosecutor.

The mother and daughter who ran a Tigard adult foster care home on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to a new 12-count indictment charging each with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and forced labor.
