OSU release - CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's Aiva Arquette, Gavin Turley and Dax Whitney were all recognized by Baseball America when the publication released its All-America and Freshman All-America teams on Friday.  Arquette and Turley were both selected as Second-Team All-Americans while Whitney is a First-Team Freshman All-American.  For Arquette, it's his third All-American selection, followed a second-team honor by Perfect Game and third-team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Turley is also an All-American for a third time, following a first-team selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and second-team award by the NCBWA.  Whitney earns his second First-Team Freshman All-American award, following Perfect Game. The NCBWA also named him a second-teamer.  Arquette finished the 2025 season with a team-best .354 batting average, while also pacing the team with 90 hits and 17 doubles. He was second on the club with 19 home runs and 66 runs batted in while posting a .654 slugging percentage and .461 on-base percentage. Arquette was 7-for-8 in stolen-base attempts while finishing with a .974 fielding percentage.  Turley's .351 batting average was second to Arquette's .354 clip, and the outfielder finished with 86 hits, 13 of which went for doubles. He led the Beavers with 20 home runs – just the third player in program history to reach that plateau – while recording 69 RBI, sixth-most in a single-season by a Beaver. Turley ended the season with a .649 slugging percentage and .472 on-base percentage.  Whitney's 120 strikeouts in 2025 stand as the eighth-most by a Beaver. It's the most ever by an Oregon State freshman. He finished the season with a 6-3 record and 3.40 earned run average, holding opponents to a .216 batting average. The Blackfoot, Idaho native allowed just six earned runs in his last six starts, covering 32 innings. He tallied 55 strikeouts over that stretch while holding opponents to 19 hits and 13 walks.
