For nearly three decades, Oregon's Death with Dignity Act allows terminally ill patients who’ve been told they have less than six months to live to seek a medically assisted death as a possible option.

More people are turning to Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act – and more than ever are getting prescriptions for life-ending drugs, according to a new state data released Thursday.
