Kohen Wiley was 1 when he was fatally shot during a June encounter with police outside a Walmart in Senatobia, Mississippi. Officer Hunter Foster, who fired into the vehicle, has since resigned after the state determined his use of force was justified.

A Mississippi police officer has resigned months after he fatally shot a 1-year-old boy outside a Walmart. Hunter Foster left the Senatobia Police Department after the state cleared him of criminal wrongdoing in the death of Kohen Wiley, the Associated Press reported.
