A missing Washington state woman was discovered dead in her partially submerged car in a Cowlitz County creek on Wednesday, authorities said.
55-year-old Loretta Evelyn Moore, known as Lori, did not return to her Castle Rock home after visiting a friend last Friday, leading family members the next day to report her as missing. Detectives had found no activity on her phone, credit cards or online accounts since her disappearance, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office.
