Microchip Technology's Gresham factory, known as Fab 4, employs about 900.

Semiconductor manufacturer Microchip Technology plans to put workers at its Gresham factory on unpaid leave periodically through the rest of 2025 as the company struggles through a prolonged downturn in revenue.
