Marshfield High Schools Upbeats Dance Team competed at the Sprague Dance Festival in Salem. The Upbeats had two first-place finishes. The Traditional (1A-4A) win went to the Upbeats, but the margin was razor-thin, with Astoria finishing a close second. Scores of 74.89 and 74.50 made for another near tie, a reminder that on a different day—or with a different judging panel—the results could easily have flipped. Pom (1A-4A) also went to Marshfield, scoring 71.11 against Valor Christian.
