Description

A Canby man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Tuesday for stabbing and killing his romantic rival in the heart during an ambush in 2024.

Eliazar Martinez-Rodriguez, 35, had previously pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the killing of Jefferson Smith Cates, court records show.
