The Multnomah County Detention Center is one of two jails run by the county.

Dominique J. Ware, the 35-year-old Portland man who died in custody at the Multnomah County Detention Center last year, was bleeding from his mouth, showed “possible seizure-like activity” and asked for help from officials more than an hour before he collapsed and died, newly released records show.
