Portland Public Schools board member Andrew Scott said he will step down early from his seat.

Portland Public Schools board member Andrew Scott will step down in January, opening a seat in his Southwest Portland zone just a few months before voters are expected to weigh in on a bond that would provide hundreds of millions of dollars to rebuild Wells High School there.
